Salary Range: $80,000 - $120,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the successful transfer of new products from design to manufacturing.
• Collaborate with R&D and manufacturing teams to optimize product design for manufacturability and testability.
• Develop and implement manufacturing processes, tooling, and equipment for new product introduction.
• Conduct process validation and qualification activities to ensure product quality and reliability.
• Identify and mitigate potential manufacturing risks during the NPI phase.
• Support pilot production runs and address any technical issues that arise.
• Document manufacturing processes, work instructions, and quality control plans for new products.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for NPI processes and methodologies.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with electronics assembly.
• Proven ability to interpret and apply engineering specifications, schematics, and CAD data.
• Experience with NPI processes, including DFM/DFA analysis and new product introduction.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on yield improvement and defect reduction.
• Proficiency in using manufacturing execution systems (MES) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with PLM systems (e.g., Windchill, Teamcenter).
• Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
• CAD experience (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
