Maintenance Manager | Fremont, MI

Salary Range: $84,000 - $124,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs for all manufacturing equipment.
• Lead and mentor a team of maintenance technicians, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
• Manage the maintenance budget, optimizing resource allocation and controlling costs.
• Oversee the procurement and inventory of spare parts, ensuring timely availability and minimizing downtime.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify and resolve recurring equipment issues.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.
• Implement and manage a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in maintenance leadership within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven expertise in CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) implementation and optimization.
• Strong understanding of Lean manufacturing principles and their application to maintenance operations.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and manage departmental budgets and capital expenditure projects.
• In-depth knowledge of safety regulations (OSHA) and best practices for industrial environments.

Bonus Qualifications

• CMRP or SMRP certification
• Experience implementing or managing a CMMS system
• Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification
• Proficiency with AutoCAD or other CAD software
