Inventory Control Manager | Allegan, MI

Salary Range: $80,000 - $120,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Allegan seeking Inventory Control Managers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement inventory control procedures and policies.
• Oversee cycle counting and physical inventory processes to ensure accuracy.
• Analyze inventory data to identify trends, forecast demand, and optimize stock levels.
• Manage slow-moving and obsolete inventory to minimize write-offs and carrying costs.
• Collaborate with production, purchasing, and warehousing to ensure efficient material flow.
• Implement and maintain inventory management systems (e.g., ERP, WMS) for improved tracking and reporting.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in inventory control, logistics, or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and WMS.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on process improvement.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with implementing and optimizing ERP/MRP systems.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher certification.
• APICS CSCP or CPIM certification.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Project management experience, particularly with inventory-focused initiatives.
