Salary Range: $78,000 - $118,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Holland that are seeking skilled Laser Weld Engineers. Key Responsibilities

• Optimize laser welding processes for new and existing products.
• Develop and implement laser weld schedules and parameters.
• Troubleshoot laser welding equipment and process issues.
• Conduct root cause analysis for weld defects and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to ensure weldability and manufacturability.
• Perform process capability studies and statistical analysis of weld data.
• Train production personnel on laser welding techniques and safety procedures.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Materials Science, Mechanical, Welding) or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in laser welding processes, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of metallurgy, material science, and their impact on weld quality.
• Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, GD&T, and weld symbols.
• Experience with process development, optimization, and troubleshooting of laser welding applications.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with automation and robotic systems
• Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing methodologies
• Knowledge of metallurgy and material science
• Experience with other welding processes (e.g., TIG, MIG)
• Ability to perform basic programming for laser systems
