Salary Range: $89,000 - $135,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Kalamazoo seeking Logistics Managers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire supply chain, from raw material acquisition to finished product delivery.
• Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
• Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate stock control to prevent shortages or overstock.
• Coordinate transportation and warehousing activities, including carrier selection and contract negotiation.
• Utilize data analytics to monitor logistics performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant shipping regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
• Lead and mentor a team of logistics professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Strong understanding of transportation management, warehousing, inventory control, and distribution processes.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze logistics data, identify trends, and implement process improvements.
• Certification in APICS CSCP or CLTD is a plus.
