Salary Range: $51,000 - $83,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Paw Paw that are seeking Field Service Technicians. These companies are committed to building strong teams and are looking for professionals who can lead initiatives effectively. Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and preventative repairs on manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose complex mechanical and electrical issues in the field.
• Execute emergency repairs and provide rapid response to minimize production downtime.
• Install, commission, and calibrate new machinery and systems at client sites.
• Document service activities, including work performed, parts used, and time spent.
• Provide technical support and training to clients on equipment operation and maintenance.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies during fieldwork.

Recommended Qualifications

• Associate's degree in electronics, mechatronics, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery (e.g., PLCs, robotics, hydraulics).
• Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, mechanical diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Strong understanding of pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively to customer sites.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Certification in a specialized area such as robotics, hydraulics, or laser systems.
• Proficiency with a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) or EAM (Enterprise Asset Management) software.
• Ability to read and interpret complex electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics.
