Facilities Manager | Mason, MI

Salary Range: $85,000 - $130,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Mason that are seeking skilled Facilities Managers. These organizations are dedicated to maintaining high standards and are looking for professionals who can contribute effectively. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the maintenance and repair of all manufacturing equipment and facilities.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
• Manage facility budgets, including forecasting, expense tracking, and cost control.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate and supervise external contractors for specialized services and projects.
• Optimize space utilization and layout to support efficient manufacturing operations.
• Implement and manage facility-wide security systems and protocols.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in facilities management, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience managing facility budgets, preventative maintenance programs, and capital projects.
• Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) and relevant safety regulations (OSHA).
• Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
