Salary Range: $62,000 - $95,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Plainwell that are seeking Estimators. Key Responsibilities

• Prepares accurate and timely cost estimates for manufacturing projects.
• Collaborates with sales, engineering, and production to gather necessary data for bids.
• Analyzes blueprints, specifications, and other documents to determine scope of work.
• Solicits and evaluates quotes from vendors and subcontractors for materials and services.
• Identifies cost-saving opportunities and alternative manufacturing methods.
• Presents detailed cost breakdowns and explanations to internal stakeholders and clients.

Recommended Qualifications

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) for data extraction and analysis.
• Certification in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
• Proficiency in a second language, particularly Spanish or Mandarin.
• Project management experience or certification (e.g., PMP, CAPM).
