Salary Range: $47,000 - $72,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

  • Process bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried employees.
  • Administer timekeeping system and ensure accurate data entry.
  • Calculate and process payroll deductions and garnishments.
  • Prepare and submit payroll tax filings and reports.
  • Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll and benefits.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.

Recommended Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience processing multi-state payroll for 500+ employees in a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with payroll software (e.g., ADP Workforce Now, UKG Pro) and timekeeping systems.
  • Strong understanding of federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with general ledger reconciliation and journal entries related to payroll.
  • Ability to interpret and apply collective bargaining agreements or complex pay structures specific to manufacturing operations.
