Operations Manager | Allendale, MI

Salary Range: $108,000 - $156,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Allendale seeking Operations Managers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production activities to ensure efficiency and adherence to schedules.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to optimize productivity and quality.
• Manage and mentor a team of production supervisors and line employees.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Collaborate with supply chain and quality control to ensure seamless operations.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing processes.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in operations management within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Strong understanding of production planning, inventory management, and supply chain processes.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
• Proficiency in using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., SQL, Power BI, Tableau).
• Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, CAPM).
• Bilingual proficiency, especially in Spanish.
