Salary Range: $75,000 - $114,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Rockford that are seeking skilled Inventory Control Managers. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement inventory control procedures to optimize stock levels and minimize waste.
• Oversee regular cycle counts and full physical inventories, ensuring accuracy and reconciling discrepancies.
• Analyze inventory data to identify trends, forecast demand, and make recommendations for improvements.
• Manage the inventory management system (ERP/WMS) to ensure data integrity and efficient operations.
• Collaborate with production, purchasing, and logistics to ensure timely material availability and efficient flow.
• Lead and develop a team of inventory control specialists, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in inventory control, logistics, or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Strong understanding of inventory management principles, including forecasting, demand planning, and optimization techniques.
• Demonstrated ability to implement and improve inventory control processes, leading to cost reductions and efficiency gains.

Bonus Qualifications

• APICS certification (CSCP or CPIM)
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies
• Proficiency in a second language (e.g., Spanish, Mandarin)
• Familiarity with hazardous material handling and regulations
