Inspection Technician | Wyoming, MI

Salary Range: $42,000 - $65,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Wyoming that are seeking skilled Inspection Technicians. Key Responsibilities

• Perform visual and dimensional inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products.
• Utilize precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify product specifications.
• Document inspection results accurately and maintain detailed records in accordance with quality procedures.
• Identify and report non-conforming materials or products, initiating appropriate corrective actions.
• Conduct first-article inspections and in-process checks to ensure adherence to engineering drawings and quality standards.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and implement process improvements.
• Operate and maintain various inspection equipment and test instruments.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 1-3 years of experience in quality control or inspection within a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Strong understanding of GD&T principles and their application
• Experience with various metrology tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, CMM, vision systems)
• Ability to perform detailed visual inspections and identify defects
