Salary Range: $86,000 - $131,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Rockford seeking Project Managers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the full project lifecycle from initiation to closure for manufacturing projects.
• Develop and manage detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, and resource allocation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, production, supply chain) to ensure project success.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure projects remain within financial constraints.
• Facilitate communication and provide regular updates to stakeholders on project status and performance.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within project management processes for manufacturing.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
• PMP certification or equivalent.
• 5+ years of project management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects from conception to completion.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and supply chain management.

Bonus Qualifications

• PMP certification
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
• Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira)
• Experience with automation or Industry 4.0 initiatives
