Salary Range: $86,000 - $126,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Wyoming seeking Purchasing Managers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement purchasing strategies to optimize cost and quality.
• Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts for raw materials and components.
• Oversee inventory levels and ensure timely procurement to support production schedules.
• Lead and mentor a team of purchasing agents and buyers.
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including lead time and material availability.
• Collaborate with engineering and production to define material specifications and requirements.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in purchasing or procurement within a manufacturing environment
• Proven track record of negotiating favorable terms with suppliers and achieving cost savings
• Strong understanding of ERP systems and procurement software
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Certifications such as CPSM or CPIM are a plus
