Salary Range: $71,000 - $105,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Paw Paw that are seeking Quality Engineers. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality control procedures and inspection plans.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for non-conformances.
• Monitor and analyze manufacturing processes to identify areas for quality improvement.
• Perform product inspections and audits to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
• Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure product quality from concept to launch.
• Utilize statistical process control (SPC) and other quality tools to drive continuous improvement.
• Manage and maintain quality documentation, including procedures, work instructions, and records.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100).
• Proficiency in statistical process control (SPC), root cause analysis, and other quality tools.
• Experience with corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).

Bonus Qualifications

• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification
• Experience with Six Sigma methodologies and/or Lean manufacturing principles
• Proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP, R, Python)
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 and other relevant quality management standards
• Experience with root cause analysis tools and problem-solving techniques
