Salary Range: $50,000 - $77,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Mason that are seeking skilled Quality Inspectors. Key Responsibilities

• Perform visual and dimensional inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and CMMs to verify product specifications.
• Document inspection results accurately and maintain detailed records of quality control activities.
• Identify and report non-conforming materials or products, initiating corrective action requests as needed.
• Collaborate with production personnel to resolve quality issues and implement preventive measures.
• Conduct first-article inspections and in-process audits to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Assist in the development and revision of inspection procedures and work instructions.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 2+ years experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schecharts, and technical documents
• Familiarity with various measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) and CMM operation
• Strong understanding of GD&T principles
• Ability to perform detailed visual inspections and identify defects

Bonus Qualifications

• ASQ Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) certification
• Experience with statistical process control (SPC) software and methodologies
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement
• Ability to interpret and apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
• Prior experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment
