Quality Manager | St. Johns, MI

Salary Range: $95,000 - $142,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in St. Johns that are seeking skilled Quality Managers. These organizations are dedicated to maintaining high standards and are looking for professionals who can contribute effectively. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality management systems (QMS) and procedures.
• Oversee inspection and testing processes to ensure product quality and compliance.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) initiatives for quality issues.
• Manage and mentor a team of quality control inspectors and technicians.
• Conduct internal and external audits to ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations.
• Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain to resolve quality-related challenges.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years experience in quality assurance/control within a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems and related standards.
• Proven experience with quality tools and methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, FMEA, SPC).
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with experience managing quality teams.
