Salary Range: $67,000 - $100,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and train shop floor personnel on manufacturing processes and safety protocols.
• Oversee daily production schedules, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and machinery, coordinating maintenance and repairs as needed.
• Manage inventory of raw materials, tools, and finished goods, initiating procurement when necessary.
• Implement and enforce safety regulations and company policies to maintain a secure work environment.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and waste.
• Collaborate with engineering and management to optimize manufacturing processes and improve efficiency.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing shop environment
• 2+ years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, tools, and equipment
• Proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with lean manufacturing principles
• Certification in a relevant trade (e.g., welding, machining)
• Proficiency in using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
• Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and blueprints
• Experience training junior technicians
