Salary Range: $43,000 - $63,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute the loading and unloading of trucks, ensuring accurate documentation.
• Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against purchase orders and invoices, noting discrepancies.
• Prepare and package finished goods for shipment, selecting appropriate packaging materials and methods.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely to move, store, and retrieve materials within the warehouse.
• Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and data entry into the inventory management system.
• Inspect incoming materials for damage or defects, reporting any issues to the appropriate department.
• Organize and maintain the shipping and receiving areas for cleanliness and efficiency.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years experience in shipping/receiving within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for inventory management and transaction processing.
• Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment; certification preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documenting shipments and receipts.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing physical tasks associated with warehouse operations.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience operating a forklift, pallet jack, or other material handling equipment
• Proficiency with inventory management software (e.g., ERP systems)
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for occasional local deliveries
• Familiarity with hazardous material handling procedures and regulations
