Salary Range: $49,000 - $72,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily shipping and receiving operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Lead and train a team of shipping and receiving personnel.
• Implement and maintain inventory control procedures and systems.
• Coordinate with production, logistics, and sales teams to meet shipping deadlines.
• Operate and maintain material handling equipment, including forklifts.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
• Conduct regular audits of shipping and receiving processes to identify areas for improvement.

Recommended Qualifications

• 3-5 years experience in shipping, receiving, or warehousing within a manufacturing environment
• Proven ability to lead and mentor a small team
• Strong understanding of inventory management principles and systems (e.g., ERP, WMS)
• Forklift certification and demonstrated safe operation of material handling equipment
• Proficient in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite)
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Lean manufacturing principles (e.g., Kanban, 5S)
• Proficiency in using an ERP system for inventory management and transaction processing
• Forklift certification and experience operating various material handling equipment
• Ability to analyze data and generate reports to identify trends and optimize processes
• Experience training and mentoring team members on best practices and safety protocols
