Salary Range: $48,000 - $71,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Whitehall seeking Shipping & Receiving Leads who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily shipping and receiving operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Lead and train a team of shipping and receiving associates.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and reconciliation.
• Coordinate with production and logistics to optimize material flow and delivery schedules.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and quality control standards.
• Operate and maintain material handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Resolve discrepancies and issues related to shipments and receipts.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in shipping/receiving, with 2+ years in a lead or supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated ability to operate and maintain various material handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, with valid certification.
• Proficient in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software for inventory management, order processing, and tracking.
• Strong understanding of shipping and receiving best practices, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance (e.g., DOT, OSHA).
• Proven ability to train, mentor, and lead a team, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy in managing inventory and documentation.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with an ERP system (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) for inventory management and transaction processing.
• Forklift certification and experience operating various material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, reach trucks).
• Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., 5S, Kaizen).
• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to read and interpret shipping documents, blueprints, and production schedules.
