Salary Range: $91,000 - $138,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We collaborate with manufacturing companies in the Rockford region seeking Six Sigma Black Belts. These employers partner with us because they want real insight into candidates—not just resumes. By joining our network, you gain access to roles worth considering.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute complex Six Sigma Black Belt projects from inception to completion, delivering significant cost savings and process improvements.
• Mentor and coach Green Belts and other team members on Six Sigma methodologies, tools, and project execution.
• Utilize advanced statistical analysis tools and techniques to identify root causes of defects and variation, and validate improvement solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify improvement opportunities and drive the implementation of sustainable solutions.
• Develop and deliver training programs on Six Sigma principles and tools to build organizational capability.
• Monitor project progress, manage risks, and ensure timely completion of deliverables, reporting out to stakeholders.
• Champion a culture of continuous improvement and data-driven decision making across the manufacturing site.

Recommended Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB) from a recognized institution.
• Demonstrated experience leading at least 5 complex Six Sigma projects with documented results.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP) and advanced Excel.
• Proven ability to mentor and coach Green Belts and project teams.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Industry 4.0 technologies and their application in manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with advanced statistical software (e.g., R, Python) for data analysis and modeling beyond standard Minitab functions.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop Green Belts, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Project management certification (e.g., PMP) or significant experience leading complex, cross-functional projects.
