Salary Range: $59,000 - $89,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Wayland that are seeking Staff Accountants. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts, including bank statements and intercompany accounts.
• Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes, including financial statement preparation.
• Analyze manufacturing costs, variances, and inventory valuation.
• Support external audits by providing requested documentation and explanations.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Contribute to budgeting and forecasting activities, particularly related to production costs.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 2+ years of experience in a Staff Accountant role, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
• Experience with inventory accounting and cost accounting principles
