Salary Range: $51,000 - $81,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Mason that are seeking skilled Quoting Specialists. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely quotes for manufactured products based on customer specifications.
• Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to determine appropriate materials, processes, and labor.
• Collaborate with engineering, sales, and production teams to gather necessary information and ensure manufacturability.
• Utilize ERP/MRP systems and quoting software to develop detailed cost breakdowns and pricing proposals.
• Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers to secure competitive material and service costs.
• Maintain and update a comprehensive database of pricing, vendor information, and quote history.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding quotes, lead times, and product specifications.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement within the quoting function.

Recommended Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in quoting, estimating, or sales support within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Strong mathematical aptitude and analytical skills for cost calculations and margin analysis.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with sales, engineering, and production teams.
• Familiarity with ERP/CRM systems and quoting software.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) for tracking quotes and customer interactions.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) for accessing product data and pricing.
• Ability to read and interpret basic technical drawings or blueprints.
• Strong problem-solving skills to address complex customer requests or pricing challenges.
• Certification in a relevant field (e.g., CPQ - Configure, Price, Quote).
