Salary Range: $54,000 - $84,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Generate accurate and timely quotes for manufactured products.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, and production to gather necessary information for quotes.
• Interpret blueprints, specifications, and customer requirements to formulate cost estimates.
• Utilize ERP systems and quoting software to process and track quotes.
• Negotiate pricing and terms with customers to secure orders.
• Maintain and update pricing databases and costing models.
• Provide exceptional customer service throughout the quoting process.

Recommended Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in a quoting, estimating, or sales support role within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (e.g., machining, fabrication, assembly) and their associated cost drivers.
• Demonstrated ability to use ERP/MRP systems and quoting software.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate complex technical and commercial information effectively.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with ERP/CRM systems specific to manufacturing (e.g., SAP, Salesforce).
• Familiarity with common manufacturing processes (e.g., machining, fabrication, assembly).
• Ability to read and interpret basic engineering drawings or blueprints.
• Strong negotiation skills with suppliers or customers.
• Certification in a relevant field (e.g., CPIM, CSCP, or a sales/negotiation course).
