Salary Range: $58,000 - $88,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely quotes for standard and custom products.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, and production to gather necessary information for quotes.
• Analyze customer specifications and blueprints to determine material and labor costs.
• Utilize ERP/MRP systems and quoting software to generate pricing and proposals.
• Negotiate pricing and terms with customers to secure orders while maintaining profitability.
• Maintain and update a database of pricing, product information, and customer records.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement within the quoting process.

Recommended Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in a quoting, estimating, or sales support role within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills for cost calculation and margin analysis.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with internal teams and external customers.
• Experience with ERP/CRM systems and quoting software.
