Salary Range: $81,000 - $121,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity
We are partnering with organizations in Ludington that are seeking Production Managers. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production operations to ensure efficiency and adherence to schedules.
- Develop and implement production plans, including staffing, material allocation, and equipment utilization.
- Monitor product quality and implement corrective actions to meet established standards.
- Manage and mentor production staff, including training, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions.
- Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement process optimizations.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies within the production environment.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as supply chain and engineering, to optimize overall workflow.
- Manage production budget, control costs, and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
Recommended Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Proven experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong understanding of production planning, scheduling, and inventory control systems (e.g., ERP, MRP).
- Demonstrated ability to manage and develop a team, fostering a culture of safety and productivity.
Bonus Qualifications
- Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification
- Experience with ERP systems like SAP or Oracle
