Salary Range: $65,000 - $92,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Kalamazoo that are seeking skilled Production Supervisors. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production activities to meet output targets and quality standards.
• Supervise and train production line personnel, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and operational procedures.
• Monitor production schedules and workflow, implementing adjustments to optimize efficiency and resolve bottlenecks.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and processes to identify and address maintenance needs and ensure product quality.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as quality control and maintenance, to ensure smooth production operations.
• Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
• Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate a production team
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and safety procedures
• Proficient in using production management software and tools
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Minitab)
• Bilingual in Spanish or other relevant languages
• OSHA 30-hour certification
