Production Lead | Montague, MI

Salary Range: $57,000 - $84,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Montague that are seeking Production Leads. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production activities to ensure efficiency and quality.
• Lead and mentor a team of production operators, fostering a collaborative environment.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and quality control standards.
• Monitor production schedules and adjust resources to meet targets.
• Identify and troubleshoot production issues, implementing corrective actions.
• Collaborate with other departments to optimize workflow and resolve interdepartmental challenges.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing production, with at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory role.
• Proven ability to interpret production schedules, blueprints, and technical documents.
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to train, mentor, and motivate a production team.
• Proficiency in using manufacturing execution systems (MES) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions under pressure.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies
• Proficiency in ERP systems like SAP or Oracle
• Strong background in data analysis and reporting
• Bilingual in Spanish or another relevant language
