Salary Range: $61,000 - $93,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Kalamazoo that are seeking Robotics Technicians. Key Responsibilities

• Calibrate, maintain, and repair robotic systems and automated equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot robotic malfunctions.
• Install and configure new robotic hardware and software.
• Conduct routine inspections and diagnostic tests on robotic cells.
• Collaborate with engineers to optimize robotic processes and programming.
• Document maintenance activities, repairs, and performance data.

Recommended Qualifications

• Associate's degree in robotics, mechatronics, electrical engineering, or a related technical field.
• 2+ years of experience in industrial robotics maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and PLC logic.
• Strong understanding of robotic programming (e.g., FANUC, KUKA, ABB) and ability to perform program modifications.
• Experience with various robotic end-of-arm tooling (EOAT), sensors, vision systems, and related peripheral equipment.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence)
• Familiarity with PLCs (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell) for troubleshooting and integration
• Proficiency in a scripting language (e.g., Python) for data analysis or tool development
• Certification in a specific robotics platform (e.g., FANUC, KUKA, ABB)
• Background in electrical or mechanical engineering principles beyond basic troubleshooting
