General Manager


The General Manager is responsible for providing leadership for all essential branch activities including P&L management, business development activities, workforce management, training, sales management, facilities management, warehouse management, and fleet management.

A qualified candidate will have demonstrated success at being a strong problem solver and capable of generating and implementing strategic decisions using a combination of analysis and experience.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Effectively leads and is accountable for all aspects of sales and field operations to ensure customer expectations and company financial objectives are met

  • Perform to monthly, quarterly, and annual budget goals and KPI's

  • Build and develop a team of technicians to achieve both individual and branch goals

  • Provide a best-in-class customer experience to build a solid reputation of quality work in the market

  • Follow systems and operational practices that will drive success in the home service and replacement market

  • Drives sales programs and incentives to achieve targeted growth and financial results

  • Performs at a high level while creating a meaningful work environment for the growth and development of the team

  • Accountable for ongoing technician training including communication, leadership, and technical expertise

  • Communicates key business updates to the President/CEO as necessary

  • Continuously recruit and hire the best talent available to expand the team for growth

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

  • At least 5 years of successful management and related technical experience

  • Highly motivated to get things done the right way

  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and active listening skills

  • Highly confident, skilled leader who is persuasive with a selling personality

  • Must enjoy being constantly challenged to grow and improve operationally

  • Proficient with smartphones, tablets, laptops, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook with the ability to learn new service software

  • Strong business and financial acumen

  • Must feel comfortable using key performance and financial metrics to manage the business and excel as a leader

  • Demonstrated success at building a team of technicians who do quality work

  • Able and willing to connect with the community to identify new opportunities and recruit new talent
