Senior Vice President of Operations
This company is a leading platform of residential heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning (HVAC), plumbing, and electrical service providers across the United States. Since its inception in 2021, the Company has acquired 25+ brands and is rapidly expanding its footprint. The SVP of Operations will work closely with the Board of Directors, the Chief Executive Officer, branch leadership to set the Company's strategic direction, and will be responsible for operationalizing the strategy to meet the Company's financial goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Develop and drive company's strategic priorities, including corporate and operating company (OpCo) specific strategies, as well as overall strategic growth initiatives
- Design and implement standard processes and continuous improvement initiatives to drive operational excellence and best practices to improve quality, service, productivity, cost & safety
- Build and nurture a culture of daily accountability and operational improvement by using data and KPIs implement standardized business scorecard metrics and systems
- Leverage data insights to drive operational decision making
- Create and execute office opening playbook and strategies to accelerate geographical expansion (new markets and market extensions)
- Create and execute new service line playbook (e.g. adding plumbing or electric where we have HVAC) to accelerate organic growth
- Mange Regional Vice Presidents (RVPs) and branch General Managers (GMs). Establish clear operating and communication structure in collaboration with SVP of Strategy and Growth
- Participate and contribute at board meetings during annual and quarterly planning sessions
- Drive operational excellence across the platform

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
- 10+ years of experience in a senior-level management role
- Dynamic leader with strong emotional intelligence and excellent communication skills in a high accountability setting
- Exceptional organization and follow-through
- Able to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively across functions, including OpCo General Managers
- Extremely strong commercial and business instincts, demonstrated problem solving skills
- Recognized ability to build, lead, and inspire large teams, while simultaneously managing multiple complex projects
- Analytical ability to assess financial impacts of any changes to shared services model
- Demonstrated process and productivity capabilities (six sigma or similar a plus)
- Ability and willingness to travel
