My Client, a prominent player in the pressure sensitive flexo and digital labels manufacturing, has engaged The Marathon Group to uncover, assess and place a Plant/ Production Manager for Pressure Sensitive Labels. This role is critical to their operation, and the successful candidate will oversee their printing facility in near Greeley, CO.
Responsibilities
As the Plant Manager for Pressure Sensitive Labels, you will be entrusted with the following responsibilities:
- Managing, hiring, and replacing 10-12 production personnel operating Mark Andy, Comco, and Aquaflex narrow web flexo presses, as well as the Xeikon digital printer.
- Directing the production of P/S labels for a wide range of markets, including food & beverage, wine & spirits, personal care, vitamins, cannabis, chemical, and medical.
- Performing quotes for customers, ordering materials, approving production that meets delivery timelines, and occasionally meeting with clients.
Requirements to Apply for Plant/ Production Manager for Pressure Sensitive Labels
To be considered for this position, you must possess:
- At least 3 years of experience as a production or plant manager, specifically overseeing Mark Andy and Aquaflex narrow web flexo press machines and operators, and preferably Xeikon or similar digital press.
- Experience managing budgets; proficiency in managing P&L is a plus
- Experience managing maintenance personnel for press machines and facilities
- Bilingual abilities in Spanish is a plus.
