Senior Tailor/Pattern Master 2304

Looking for a Senior Tailor/Pattern master

Location: Oman for a VVIP family

Must have prior haute couture experience working in House/Private family (Arabic dresses such as Abayas, Kaftans, Jalabiyas, etc)

Master Cutter should have good experience in Abayas and Kaftans

The individual must be proactive, hardworking, and have an eye for detail in order to succeed in this role.

Produce high-quality garments; must have knowledge of high-end finishings.

Have exceptional sewing skills and knowledge of tailoring techniques, preferred to work in a factory background.

Must have knowledge of a range of sewing equipment.

Knowledge of understanding technical drawings and translating proportions to real-life garments.

Ability to communicate with the design team

Ability to manage workshops, supervise the production and quality control

Knowledge of fabric types, colors, and fabric care.

Detail-oriented.

Must know how to manage time and keep the workspace organized.

Must know how to grade garments and make alterations.

Keep a detailed record of daily work and complete day-to-day tasks assigned; ability to meet deadlines

Fabric research and recommendations according to the designer's requirements

Selection of appropriate interlining according to fabric

Realization of the 1st draping from the designer sketch

Realization of samples considering production technical constraints (cut, finishing, technical, and upgrading solutions)

Pattern cutting/ Draping/ Adaptation and transformation of clothing

Research of technical solutions according to designs and fabrics.

Salary can start from $5100 (OMR 2000) per month. 

Housing and medicals along with Visa will be provided
