Position: Audio-Visual Engineer/Broadcast

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Install, configure, and test new technical equipment, systems, and facilities.
  • Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot hardware and networking infrastructure to ensure smooth operations.
  • Configure and operate audio-visual systems and related technologies for production environments, both onsite and remote.
  • Monitor system performance, identify issues, and implement timely solutions to minimize service disruption.
  • Diagnose, analyze, and repair technical faults in equipment, networks, and systems.
  • Design and implement custom technical solutions, circuits, or system configurations as required.
  • Support live events, broadcasts, or virtual productions by operating and maintaining technical equipment.
  • Apply best practices in health, safety, and compliance when handling equipment and installations.
  • Interpret and deliver on technical requests from stakeholders, ensuring alignment with project or production needs.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues and cross-functional teams to achieve technical and operational goals.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies, industry developments, and innovative tools, sharing knowledge with the team.

      REQUIREMENTS:

      • Fluent in English, with strong proficiency in both written and spoken communication
      • Strong technical knowledge of hardware systems, IT networking, and audio-visual equipment.
      • Hands-on experience in system installation, configuration, and maintenance.
      • Solid understanding of production workflows and equipment operations.
      • Proficiency in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues under pressure.
      • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to design and implement creative solutions.
      • Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work well in a team.
      • Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
      • Good attention to detail, with adequate visual and auditory awareness for technical work.
      • Experience with photography, video production, or camera operations.
      • Familiarity with broadcast systems and live production environments.
      • Knowledge of advanced AV concepts (signal routing, switching, or infrastructure).
      • Interest in continuous learning and adapting to new technologies.
