DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Managing team of 10 Specialists/Techs
  • Installing and testing new equipment and systems.
  • Maintaining equipment for various media production and communication purposes.
  • Setting up and overseeing audio-visual connections between units.
  • Diagnosing and repairing technical issues with equipment and systems.
  • Minimizing service disruption by quickly identifying and implementing alternative solutions.
  • Setting up and operating equipment and transmission links for live events.
  • Designing and installing custom audio-visual systems.
  • Designing and creating hardware and systems.
  • Promoting and adhering to workplace health and safety standards.
  • Interpreting and executing instructions from stakeholders and team members.
  • Communicating effectively with team members and other colleagues.
  • Staying informed on industry trends and technological advancements through networking and research.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Native/fluent in Portuguese (C1) and Proficient in English (C1), with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • In-depth understanding of key photography concepts such as exposure, camera settings, and lenses.
  • Experience with electronic engineering and communication equipment within large Studios ideally
  • Proficient in using production video switchers.
  • Experience with live video compositing techniques, such as chroma keying.
  • Strong knowledge of infrastructure related to video signal transmission.
  • Adequate colour vision and hearing capabilities.
  • Excellent IT and project and people management skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in technical contexts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strong time management capabilities.
  • Adaptability and flexibility in work tasks.
  • Ability to stay composed under pressure.
