The Role:
We are seeking an AI-enabled Email Marketer to join our growing marketing team and support the execution, optimisation, and automation of email marketing campaigns across our portfolio of brands.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone with an interest in email marketing who is excited to work with modern tools, including AI, to improve personalisation, performance, and efficiency of email marketing campaigns. You will work closely with the Marketing Manager, GTM Engineer team lead, design, content, and commercial teams to drive engagement, nurture leads, and support revenue growth across multiple business units.

The responsibilities of this role include:
Email Campaign Strategy & Execution
- Execute the email marketing strategy across multiple brands to drive engagement, leads, and revenue.
- Maintain the email marketing calendar, ensuring campaigns align with business priorities, product launches, and promotions.
- Collaborate with leadership, commercial, and creative teams to deliver cohesive, on-brand campaigns.
- Support continuous testing, experimentation, and optimisation to improve engagement, conversions, and overall campaign performance.
- Apply AI-driven insights to improve personalisation, targeting, and content effectiveness.
Marketing Outreach & Automation
- Build, test, and optimise automated workflows, nurture journeys, and email sequences to maximise efficiency.
- Manage end-to-end email automation using platforms such as Clay, DotDigital, Higher Levels and Smartlead.
- Leverage AI tools to generate personalised copy, optimise subject lines, predict audience engagement, and refine targeting strategies.
- Produce performance reports to identify opportunities, measure success, and inform future campaigns.
- Coordinate marketing activities across multiple brands, audience segments, and target markets.
- Provide administrative and operational support to the marketing team, ensuring smooth campaign execution.
Data, Reporting & Performance Optimisation
- Work with the Data Engineer to collect, organise, and enrich potential client data for campaigns.
- Extract and verify contact details (emails, phone numbers, LinkedIn profiles) for accurate outreach.
- Research company and contact information (industry, size, location, decision-makers) to improve targeting and segmentation.
- Monitor campaign performance metrics such as open rates, CTR, conversions, and deliverability.
- Build and maintain reporting dashboards and summaries to support data-driven decision-making.
- Analyse trends, insights, and opportunities to optimise lifecycle marketing and overall funnel performance.
- Use AI insights to guide segmentation, personalisation, and campaign optimisation for maximum ROI.
Automation & Tools Handling
- Leverage AI tools for copy generation, personalisation, content ideation, and campaign optimisation.
- Support the setup, testing, and optimisation of automated workflows, segmentation, and A/B testing to improve engagement and conversions.
Experience & Skills:
- Professional Experience: 2–4 years of experience in email marketing, B2B marketing, or sales outreach is highly beneficial.
- AI & Automation Tools: Experience using AI tools for copywriting, personalisation, predictive analytics, and campaign optimisation. Interest in leveraging AI and automation tools to enhance processes.
- Data Handling: Comfortable working with large datasets. Strong analytical skills to derive actionable insights.
- Lead Generation & Outreach: Experience with LinkedIn outreach and lead qualification is a plus. Familiarity with CRM tools such as Close, or similar platforms.
- Email Marketing Skills: Proven ability to build workflows, schedule communications, and manage end-to-end email automation campaigns across multiple brands.
- B2B Marketing Knowledge: Basic understanding of B2B sales and marketing processes, decision-maker targeting, and lead nurturing strategies.
- Communication & Collaboration: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong collaboration and organisational abilities to work effectively across teams.
- Work Ethic & Attitude: Proactive, self-motivated, and results-driven; thrives in a fast-paced, growing environment.
- Time & Task Management: Ability to meet strict deadlines and manage multiple campaigns and tasks across various brands.

Compensation and Incentives:
Base Salary:
- Average monthly base salary: R20,000–R25,000, with room for higher compensation based on experience and performance.
