Requirements
- National Diploma in Sales & Marketing or a related technical/management field
- 4+ years of experience in workshop, mechanization, or agricultural equipment management
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Solid understanding of agricultural machinery, maintenance processes, parts procurement, and inventory control
- Financial and administrative competence, with the ability to manage budgets and performance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for staff, suppliers, and client engagement
Key Responsibilities:
Workshop Operations & Maintenance
- Plan, coordinate, and manage daily workshop activities
- Oversee repairs and maintenance with a focus on quality and minimum downtime
- Schedule and monitor preventive maintenance across all agricultural equipment
Spares & Inventory Management
- Procure and manage spare parts and components
- Maintain accurate stock levels, records, and controls
- Support clients with spares, custom builds, repairs, and technical guidance
Financial & Performance Management
- Manage workshop budgeting, cost control, and profitability
- Maintain accurate pricing, quotes, and operational reporting
- Improve efficiency, workflow, and workshop performance
Customer & Sales Support
- Engage with clients, suppliers, and internal teams
- Provide technical insights on designs and specifications
- Promote workshop services and support sales/marketing initiatives
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, motivate, and develop a skilled technical team
- Uphold SHEQ standards and ensure regulatory compliance
- Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
