Requirements

  • National Diploma in Sales & Marketing or a related technical/management field
  • 4+ years of experience in workshop, mechanization, or agricultural equipment management
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Solid understanding of agricultural machinery, maintenance processes, parts procurement, and inventory control
  • Financial and administrative competence, with the ability to manage budgets and performance
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for staff, suppliers, and client engagement

Key Responsibilities:

Workshop Operations & Maintenance

  • Plan, coordinate, and manage daily workshop activities
  • Oversee repairs and maintenance with a focus on quality and minimum downtime
  • Schedule and monitor preventive maintenance across all agricultural equipment

Spares & Inventory Management

  • Procure and manage spare parts and components
  • Maintain accurate stock levels, records, and controls
  • Support clients with spares, custom builds, repairs, and technical guidance

Financial & Performance Management

  • Manage workshop budgeting, cost control, and profitability
  • Maintain accurate pricing, quotes, and operational reporting
  • Improve efficiency, workflow, and workshop performance

Customer & Sales Support

  • Engage with clients, suppliers, and internal teams
  • Provide technical insights on designs and specifications
  • Promote workshop services and support sales/marketing initiatives

Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead, motivate, and develop a skilled technical team
  • Uphold SHEQ standards and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
