Working Setup: 40 hours per week, Mondays to Fridays, 09:00 to 18:00.

The Role:

As a Recruitment Resourcer, your primary responsibility will be to support the recruitment team by sourcing, engaging and screening candidates for a variety of roles across different sectors. You will work closely with Recruitment Consultants and Delivery Managers to ensure a consistent and efficient recruitment process.

Core Purpose:

The Recruitment Resourcer plays a pivotal role in identifying and engaging with top talent, ensuring a smooth recruitment process from candidate sourcing to interview coordination. The purpose of this role is to enable the wider recruitment team to meet client expectations by providing high-quality candidates quickly and efficiently.

The responsibilities of this role include:

Candidate Sourcing & Engagement

  • Actively source candidates via various channels, including job boards, LinkedIn, social media, networking, and internal databases.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of high-quality candidates for current and future client requirements.
  • Engage with candidates to establish their skills, experience, and career aspirations.
  • Pre-screen candidates to ensure they meet client requirements and job specifications.
  • Manage and update candidate records in the ATS (Applicant Tracking System) or CRM systems.

Interview Coordination & Candidate Management

  • Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and clients, ensuring timely and clear communication at all stages.
  • Prepare candidates for interviews by providing guidance on client expectations, role specifics, and interview techniques.
  • Ensure candidates are kept informed throughout the process and provide a positive candidate experience.
  • Manage candidate feedback and communicate it to the wider recruitment team.

Market Research & Client Support

  • Conduct market research to identify trends, talent shortages, and competitor activity in your specialism.
  • Assist the recruitment team in tailoring job descriptions and candidate requirements based on market intelligence.
  • Support the team with client-specific requirements, ensuring a seamless recruitment process.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing and potential candidates, ensuring their availability and interest in future opportunities.

Administration & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the ATS/CRM systems.
  • Support the team with the creation of shortlists and candidate presentations for clients.
  • Produce weekly/monthly reports on candidate sourcing activities, interview success rates, and market trends.
  • Manage administrative tasks such as preparing offer letters, contract documents, and client-facing materials.

Qualifications/Experience Required:

  • A good standard of education (GCSEs or equivalent). Higher education (A-Levels or degree) would be a plus.
  • At least 6 months to 1 year of experience in recruitment or a customer-facing role (sales, customer service, etc.) is desirable, but not essential.
  • Comfortable using recruitment software (ATS, CRM) and productivity tools (e.g., MS Office, Google Suite).

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Deliver a shortlist of candidates within 48 hours of job specification receipt.
  • Actively manage 10+ roles per week.
  • Submit 30 qualified candidates weekly.
  • Facilitate 20 interviews per week.
  • Achieve 5 placements per month.
  • Maintain high-quality rankings from Business Development (BD) managers.

Compensation and Incentives:

Base Salary:

  • Average monthly base salary: R20,000 - R25,000, with room for higher compensation based on experience and performance.

Commission:

  • 2.5% on international permanent placements.
  • 2.5% on local permanent placements.
  • 2.5% of contract value for local contractors.
  • 5% on 40 placements or more.
