Seeking a skilled Control Systems Engineer with proven experience in Siemens PLCs and Ignition (Perspective & Vision) to design, implement, and support robust industrial automation solutions.
Qualifications
National B.Tec.h Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechatronics or Electronics Engineering
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of experience in control system design and implementation
Proven project experience or demonstrable experience delivering similar industrial automation projects
Hands-on experience delivering complete automation solutions in industrial environments
Ignition SCADA – Perspective & Vision (mandatory)
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Detail-oriented with a focus on system reliability and performance
Technical Requirements
Siemens PLCs (design, programming, commissioning)
Ignition SCADA – Perspective & Vision (mandatory)
Canary Historian
Industrial networking:

Self-driven, accountable, and able to manage multiple priorities
You will be involved across the full project lifecycle—from design and development through commissioning, optimisation, and client support—working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams and clients.
Key Responsibilities
Control System Design & Development
Design, develop, and implement Siemens PLC-based control systems for industrial applications
Develop, configure, and maintain Ignition HMI/SCADA solutions using Perspective and Vision modules
Integrate Canary Historian for reliable data collection, storage, and reporting
Industrial Networking & Systems Integration
Design and implement industrial Ethernet networks, including:
Profinet
Managed Ethernet Networks
Ensure secure, reliable, and high-performance communication between control systems, HMIs, and historians
Commissioning & Support
Perform factory acceptance testing (FAT), site acceptance testing (SAT), and on-site commissioning
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve control system and network issues
Provide technical support, documentation, and system handover to clients
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
Work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to deliver projects on time and within scope
Contribute to system standardisation, best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives
