Executive Summary

Own the product roadmap, prioritisation, and delivery across an internal AI product portfolio

Lead the development of a flagship AI platform and supporting internal products
-
Work closely with an in-house engineering team to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions
-
Use customer feedback and product usage data to inform strategy and roadmap decisions
-
Report directly to the CEO and contribute to the overall business strategy
Key Responsibilities

Own and manage the product roadmap across internal products, prioritising by business value, user impact, and technical effort

Write clear PRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria to support effective delivery
-
Translate usage data and stakeholder feedback into refined backlog items and requirements
-
Lead product discovery and validation with internal users and client teams
-
Partner closely with developers throughout delivery to ensure quality and alignment
-
Coordinate release planning, product launches, and internal rollouts alongside commercial teams
-
Define product usage metrics and work with engineering to build dashboards
-
Ensure evaluation and acceptance testing are embedded into delivery processes
-
Generate and refine new product ideas across the wider product portfolio
Person Specification – Essential
-
3–5+ years of experience delivering B2B SaaS products with clear ownership of roadmap and delivery

Strong experience translating product strategy into PRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria
-
Practical familiarity with generative AI tools and exposure to AI or ML-driven products
-
Comfortable working closely with engineers and designers, making informed technical trade-offs
-
Proven experience running discovery, validation, and converting insights into a deliverable scope

Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills

Based in Cape Town with the legal right to work in South Africa, and able to work on-site

UX/UI design exposure or hands-on experience with user research

Experience delivering internal platform or tooling products
