PURPOSE:

Sell products and services, provide excellent customer service, and achieve sales targets.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Education:

  • Matric
  • Certificate in Sales or related field (NQF 5)

Experience:

  • Up to 3 years in a sales role within a retail environment

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Sales & Customer Engagement:

  • Actively seek new sales opportunities and close deals.
  • Grow client base and maintain customer relationships.
  • Monitor competition and market trends.
  • Prepare sales forecasts and track performance.
  • Conduct product presentations and training for customers.
  • Handle customer queries and ensure satisfaction.

Stock & Operations Management:

  • Ensure optimal stock availability and monitor stock rotations.
  • Assist customers in managing stock levels.
  • Work with the warehouse to resolve stock issues.

Financial & Compliance:

  • Support credit applications and assist in debt collection.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Manage operational costs and optimize resources.

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

  • Sales principles and strategies
  • Strong communication (verbal & written)
  • Basic computer literacy (MS Office, SAP, ERP systems)
