Primary Job Purpose:
The primary purpose of this role is to ensure accurate and timely quality checks are conducted, ensuring that stock leaving the factory is in exceptional condition.
Qualifications:

Grade 8-10

Quality Control (Q.C) qualification
Experience:
-
5 - 10 years in a senior quality control role
-
Experience in setting up and managing full QC processes, including building structures at:
-
Factory
-
ABUs (Area Business Units)
-
Head Quarters
-
Aligning with customer QC processes
-
-
Experience in setting up and managing QC labs (e.g., Loskop & Pinetown)
-
Proven experience in building QC reporting structures
-
Experience in managing QC teams
-
Compliance and audit experience, working closely with Purchasing, Planning, and Brand Managers
Key Performance Areas:
1. Quality Control:
-
Ensure that the quality of finished products aligns with specified standards.

Perform inspections by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests to identify imperfections (e.g., cuts, scratches, missing pieces, crooked seams).

Reject and return unacceptable materials.
-
Record received work in the "A" book.
-
Conduct quality assurance on the production line.
-
Document inspection results by completing reports and summarizing re-work based on checks.

Discuss inspection outcomes with the Supervisor.

Follow quality control processes and procedures to evaluate products effectively.
2. Compliance:

Adhere to corporate standards and procedures when handling inventory.

Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
-
Follow all relevant legislation and regulations.

Comply with health and safety policies, including the use of safety equipment as required.

Follow the emergency evacuation plan and adhere to designated assembly points.
