An established steel fabrication business based in Krugersdorp is seeking a Junior Structural Steel Draughtsman to join their growing technical team. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior candidate with a passion for engineering drawings and an interest in building a long-term career in the structural steel industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing basic structural steel detail drawings for fabrication
• Work closely with the senior draughting team and workshop staff to ensure drawings meet production requirements
• Interpret engineering sketches and convert them into detailed fabrication-ready layouts
• Maintain accuracy in all drawings and revisions
• Participate in ongoing training and skills development

Minimum Requirements:

• Relevant qualification or training in draughting (mechanical or structural preferred)
• Basic understanding of structural steel components and detailing
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (or similar software)
• Strong attention to detail and eagerness to learn
