My client is a company that integrates innovative construction systems with off-grid technologies and circular design to create sustainable, rapid-build solutions for various sectors in African markets.
Requirements:
- A Professional Member of SACPCMP would be beneficial.
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Construction Management/Built environment/Engineering or related field.
- A minimum of 5 to 7 years of working experience with a significant portion of that working as a Site Agent or similar role in the construction industry.
- Experience in carpentry, general construction, civils, Services, and paving
- Strong project management and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Valid driver's licence Code 10
- Willing to travel locally and internationally
- Have a valid passport
- Computer and project management software proficient.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the construction project from start to finish.
- Manage and coordinate subcontractors and suppliers.
- Ensure the project is completed on time and within budget.
- Monitor and report on project progress to senior management.
- Ensure all health and safety regulations are adhered to on-site.
- Manage and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the project.
- Liaise with clients and stakeholders to ensure their needs are met.
- Participate in project planning and scheduling.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation and records.
