Requirements:

  • A Professional Member of SACPCMP would be beneficial.
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Construction Management/Built environment/Engineering or related field.
  • A minimum of 5 to 7 years of working experience with a significant portion of that working as a Site Agent or similar role in the construction industry.
  • Experience in carpentry, general construction, civils, Services, and paving
  • Strong project management and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Valid driver's licence Code 10
  • Willing to travel locally and internationally
  • Have a valid passport
  • Computer and project management software proficient.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of the construction project from start to finish.
  • Manage and coordinate subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Ensure the project is completed on time and within budget.
  • Monitor and report on project progress to senior management.
  • Ensure all health and safety regulations are adhered to on-site.
  • Manage and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the project.
  • Liaise with clients and stakeholders to ensure their needs are met.
  • Participate in project planning and scheduling.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation and records.
