What You'll Be Doing:

Engineer Efficiency: Develop strategies to optimise performance, production, and system efficiencies.

Analyse & Act: Conduct performance tests, analyse trends, and generate detailed reports with practical recommendations.

Quality Control: Ensure measurement instruments and control systems are calibrated, accurate, and trustworthy.

Data-Driven Decisions: Forecast daily production, monitor critical inputs (fuel, steam, water), and improve control logic to enhance plant performance.

Problem Solver: Investigate plant incidents and breakdowns, assign costs, and drive continuous improvement.

Compliance Mastery: Oversee waste/process by-product compliance and maintain SHERQ standards.
Your Expertise & Experience:
Qualifications:

B-Tech or Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering
-
Project Management certification
-
GCC Factories highly advantageous
Experience:
-
Minimum 6 years in a similar role within a power plant or utilities environment
Skills & Strengths:

Deep knowledge of DCS, CMMS, and plant operations

Expert in performance modelling, testing protocols, and risk assessments

Advanced numerical, analytical, and auditing skills
-
Familiar with SHERQ systems and legislative compliance

Strong command of MS Office and performance tools

Leadership mindset with sharp communication and facilitation abilities
