We're looking for a dynamic, hands-on Retail Worksite Sales Manager to build and scale a team of high-performing sales specialists and help bring life, disability, and funeral cover to thousands of hard-working South Africans, right where they work.

Duties:

  • Build, lead, and inspire a growing team of worksite sales specialists.
  • Drive expansion by opening new employer groups across Cape Town (and beyond).
  • Engage face-to-face at municipal offices, government departments & large employer sites.
  • Own the numbers: performance metrics, team KPIs, and regional growth goals.
  • Coach in the field, close deals, and keep sales tools (tablets/laptops) humming.
  • Partner with HR reps and key decision-makers to secure long-term access.
  • Help shape the future of a new sales model your ideas will matter here.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years in insurance sales (long or short-term) with team leadership experience.
  • Proven success in building & managing worksite teams.
  • Cape Town-based with existing employer/worksite contacts? Huge bonus.
  • RE5 and Matric (RE5 preferred, but not a deal-breaker).
  • Familiar with PERSAL or stop order systems? Even better.
  • Analytical mindset you don't just track numbers, you act on them.
  • Tech-savvy with confidence in using digital sales tools (tablet/laptop).
