My client is seeking a Junior Mechatronics Engineer to support the development and integration of control systems, combining electrical, mechanical, and automation technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

Control System Design & Development:

  • Assist in designing and integrating automation and motion control systems with mechanical components.
  • Support the development of electrical schematics and wiring diagrams for machine integration.

Electrical & Programming:

  • Interpret and create detailed electrical drawings to support control systems.
  • Install and maintain electrical wiring and control system components according to safety standards.
  • Participate in the programming and configuration of PLCs, servo drives, and automation controllers.

Project Management & Technical Support:

  • Manage small-scale projects independently, from concept to completion.
  • Perform technical calculations and simulations to support engineering projects.
  • Assist with testing, commissioning, and optimization of automation systems.

Health, Safety & Quality:

  • Ensure all work complies with health, safety, and quality standards.
  • Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and adhere to Food Safety System Certification (FSSC) standards where applicable.

Self-Development & Growth:

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics Engineering or a related technical field.
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of technical drawings, electrical schematics, and automation systems.
