Key Performance Areas & Indicators

1. Technical Support & Product Management

  • System Monitoring: Monitor and analyze solar system performance data. Compile reports and suggest improvements.

  • Troubleshooting: Provide support for complex technical issues and ensure quick resolution.

  • Process Development: Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) and training documentation.

  • Product Lifecycle Management: Research potential improvements, coordinate with R&D, and manage product updates and rollouts.

2. Customer Service

  • Client Interaction: Respond to customer queries promptly. Conduct proactive follow-ups to maintain satisfaction.

  • Issue Resolution: Document and resolve complaints or service-related issues effectively.

  • Feedback Management: Collect and analyze customer feedback to improve service and product quality.

3. Operations & Maintenance Scheduling

  • Planning: Develop schedules for preventive and corrective maintenance activities.

  • Coordination: Ensure tools and resources are available and that tasks are executed as per schedule.

  • Monitoring: Track progress, report completion, and ensure adherence to timelines.

4. Maintenance Execution

  • Planning & Procurement: Create maintenance plans and coordinate material availability.

  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all maintenance activities are documented, and reports are compiled accurately.

Job Specifications

Qualifications

  • Minimum: Trade Tested

  • Preferred: Wireman's License

Experience

  • Minimum: 3 years in a similar role

  • Preferred: 5 years with proven experience

Technical Competencies

  • System diagnostics and maintenance procedures

  • Knowledge of solar PV systems and components

  • Familiarity with applicable electrical regulations

Behavioural Competencies

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills

  • Proactive and customer-oriented

  • Ability to work independently and in a team
