A leading player in the manufacturing industry, specialising in innovative packaging solutions across multiple sectors including personal care, household, and pharmaceuticals, is seeking a proactive and professional Executive Assistant to support the Chief Executive Officer. Duties & Responsibilities

As the Executive Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Executive Administration: End-to-end travel arrangements (local and international), procurement coordination, document handling, personal errands, and policy support.
  • Secretarial Duties: Managing communications on behalf of the CEO, diary/calendar coordination, board meeting prep, presentation creation, and expense claims.
  • Insurance Portfolio Management: Handling all company vehicle and marine/transit insurance processes.
  • Imports & Forex Management: Coordinating imports, verifying financial documents, handling Forex transactions, and liaising with finance on large purchases.
  • Event Management: Organising company-wide events and corporate functions.
  • Support Functions: Collaborate with leadership, ensure documentation accuracy, and uphold professional standards in all executive support duties.

Desired Experience & Qualifications

  • Education: Grade 12 with a Diploma in Legal Secretarial or Paralegal Studies.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a high-level Executive Assistant or similar role.
  • Skills & Attributes:
    • Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite
    • Excellent communication skills in English & Afrikaans
    • Strong organisation, problem-solving, and time-management abilities
    • High emotional intelligence, discretion, and business acumen
    • Knowledge of import processes and insurance coordination
